When I first learned about this place I honestly didn’t give it a second thought. I really didn’t think I would have enjoyed visiting as much as I did. Houses colored like those you see in fairy tales (although most of them were B&B’s), tiny malls and friendly townsfolk made the visit to this coastal little town very enjoyable. It was a relic well preserved and maintained, somewhat like a reminder of a much simpler time before the skyscraper revolution. And although I wish the visit was on a dry day, braving the falling precipitation and wicked cold wind chills wasn’t a bad experience at all, plus my camera (BlackBerry Passport) lived to show the tale.
